She appears regularly on the world’s most prestigious opera and concert stages, including the Metropolitan Opera, The Vienna State Opera, The Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Bayerische Staatsoper, San Francisco Opera, Glyndebourne Opera Festival, Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Santa Fe Opera, Seattle Opera and Los Angeles Opera.

During the 2018/2019 season, Kate will be starring in a new production of Monteverdi’s L’Incoronazione di Poppea at the Salzburg Festival, with William Christie conducting.  She will then embark on a tour of the United States performing songs from her 2017 album Thousands of Miles alongside renowned jazz pianist Baptiste Trotignon.  She returns to the Washington Concert Opera to sing the title role in a concert version of Gounod’s rarely performed opera Sapho, before ending the year with a pair of Christmas concerts in Austria singing excerpts from Hänsel und Gretel.   The new year will see Kate in a run of staged and concert operas, starting with a reprise of one of her signature roles as the Composer in Ariadne Auf Naxos, with Franz Welser-Möst conducting the Cleveland Orchestra.   She will sing a concert performance of La Damnation de Faust at La Philharmonie de Paris, before singing in two Katie Mitchell productions – Ariadne Auf Naxos at Théâtre Des Champs-Elysées in Paris, followed by a revival in Caen and Bordeaux of the critically acclaimed Miranda (After Henry Purcell), with Kate in the title role.  She will conclude the season in Fiona Shaw’s new production of Cendrillon at the Glyndebourne Festival, where she will play Prince Charming.
